The Pusher

I can't be bothered looking for groups posting about this so can any of you out there who use Blogger tell me why I should switch to the "new" blogger? They're sure stuffing it down my throat right now and quite honestly, I don't feel like having to switch. Especially to a google-account run blog.

Anything I should know? Opinions?

I switched over my blogger account - doesn't matter to me I don't use it - but the only thing I noticed was that they tried to create a more user-friendly interface for blogging. It is alright. I would say until you HAVE to change over, don't bother, it is still in beta anyway.

Besides if you switch over, like me every time I want to post a comment I have to log in twice!, which is a pain in the butt.

With Beta you do get to play around with the fancy schmancy colours though. And it has a drag and drop template to move around pics and links and stuff. It's not bad.

Yeah i switched. Its not really all that different except what Likalia said. For some reason now though, I don't have to log in twice anymore.

I haven't switched yet but I have a friend that did a couple of weeks ago. She was having so many problems with it that she had to create another account and cancel her Beta one.

Of course this was weeks ago so the bugs should be worked out by now. I'm still waiting to switch though.

Thanks Crystal, good to know.

*adjusts tin foil hat - switching suspicions confirmed*

I finally made the switch when I kept encountering problems with non-beta Blogger being down for posting and commenting.

I have yet to have a problem with the beta version. You can also add tags to your posts with the beta version.

Oh, and I've no idea what the logging in twice thing is about; I don't have to do that.
