Don't movies ruin just about EVERYTHING about childhood? Aside from Gene Wilder as Willie WOnka... really.OH, hey, and James and the Giant Peach...that one was cool. Watership Down was good, too.
Maybe I only like movie versions of books I read as an adult? Hmmm....Betcha they re-do Watership Down one of these years as a "live action"?
