Um

Driving is weird.

No, seriously it is.

I realized this yesterday driving home from work.

We're sitting there, in a seat, holding on to a wheel pushing on a pedal that makes the seat we're sitting on move forward. And we're all just sitting there. Sitting there not doing anything in a thing that moves. But we don't.

We just sit there. It's so bizarre.

I almost had to pull over I weirded myself out so much.

Driving's weird.

And it gets even weirder when you've driven onto a train. Cuz then you're watching the scenery pass by from your seat but neither you nor the car is in motion!

I have always thought that being in a car on a ferry is weird. Not to mention a terrifying steel BC Ferries death trap.

Yeah, that is a weird one too. Like, you're in a vessel that's in a vessel!

I've actually thought about when I'm walking perhaps i'm actually staying still and moving my legs as the world moves under me. See if you can get that one going! It's fun :D

sometimes, i do the same. i think way way back into the past--primitive years, even--and wonder how we got here. how we're supposed to do this in order to do this. how these things came to be.

i remember thinking how humans found out that they eat using the mouth. or how was sex invented? if the first man and woman never thought of putting that thing to the other's thing, then civilization wouldn't have existed, would it?

I think we may have the same brain Wednesday! I totally find myself thinking these kinds of things! :)

like drinking the milk of another animal? were they desperate? bored? who came up with that idea? how'd he/she tell their friend about the new discovery?
