Short Lived Hope

Well, the guy I was hoping might maybe turn into something?

Won't.

A friend of mine who's on the same dating site told me there's a way you can check your sent messages to see if someone's read them (which I had no idea you could do).

So I checked, and the guy had read my message and deleted it.

Which means I don't get to find out if we'd have gotten along or not.

Which is disappointing.

But at least I didn't get my hopes too far up or for too long.

Sigh.

When you least expect it, "the one" will appear, and it will all be worth it!

Sorry for the disappointment... It will be ok.

After dealing with the latest from my exhub, ... men are SO on my crap list.

Chin up! If he deleted them, then you wouldn't have wanted to be with him anyway. He just cut out all of the wasted minutes over coffee and wine so you can focus on someone else who is right!

Dear Victoria, can you please stop living my life a week before I live it :) I love this blog because it makes me feel better that other people are going through the same things as me. I just had a "Short Lived Hope". Actually had what I thought was a fantastic first date...the first time I actually enjoyed meeting someone online and didn't think it was a complete waste of time and energy...only to get a polite e-mail the next day saying I'm a super great wonderful sweet person but that he is looking for something slightly different...4 hours we spent hanging out and talking, 4 hours....

Not really sure how we survive these little heartbreaks again and again but we do...right?!?!?!?

Awww, man, that's disappointing! There's nothing worse than you being interested in someone but they don't feel the same way back. But yeah, we do keep surviving. Hang in there me 2.0! ;)
