In Remembrance

It's About That Time by foundimagination
This is the time we pause to remember.

This is the time we take to think of the sacrifices made, and to honour those who have passed in wars gone by.

This is the time we bow our heads and stand in silence, holding the hope for peace in our hearts, and giving thanks that we live in the way we do.

This is the time we acknowledge those who choose to serve, and the risks they take.

This is the time we speak of Flanders Fields and upholding the torch of Remembrance.

This is the time we remember.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

As someone who lives in Flanders Fields:

We wil never forget the sacrifices made by the Amercian, Canadian and Britisch soldiers who came to our aid in 1915 or 1940. I only hope we will never have to repay this debt...
