Our town has a Ribfest scheduled for Aug 20 in the park by the beach (the best beach on Lake Ontario, bar none) and the town council has approved setting up a huge screen and sound system to show the CBC feed at the Ribfest on the beach. Fingers crossed the CBC approves it. How awesome will that be?? Almost as good as you getting to the show.
I still get tears every time I hear a Hip song. Which is at least once every day as the rock station I listen is the "Home of the Hip" and every day at 6 they play a Hip song for the drive home. And I'm in the car everyday at that time.
Hey, E, I was thinking about you today, the Hip have released a few extra tickets I think? Maybe you can check it out! I had a friend getting a last minute Calgary one and thought of you when I heard that today but didn't know how to tell you <3
And yes, that would be awesome. I do hope the CBC comes through :)

YAY!! All the approvals in place. We'll be watching the Hip concert in the park by the beach enjoying ribs. Doesn't get much more Canadian than that.
